What's the difference between American Axle and German Axle?

American axle structure is simple, mostly using leaf spring suspension and drum brakes, strong load bearing, resistance to harsh road conditions, suitable for heavy transport; German axle inclined to lightweight design, commonly used air suspension and disc brakes, smoother driving, sensitive braking, focusing on efficient logistics and fuel economy. The former has low maintenance cost and the latter has better safety, so you can choose according to your transport needs.
